The results of the Referendum Poll conducted by myself and Ms. Brenda Ense on Saturday September 20th is as follows: To eligible Band Members that voted 253 Ballots

131 VOTED NO / 119 VOTED YES I Linda Debassige, Electoral Officer, declare that the polling place was kept open between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:OO p.m. of the same day, and that I have correctly counted the votes for each candidate and have performed all other duties required of me by the Regulations of M'Chigeeng First Nation on Election of Chief and Council -Part 1 and M'Chigeeng Election Procedures - Part 2 and that copies of this report will be provided to Chief and Council of M’Chigeeng First Nation, Elections Committee and one copy to be filed with the Band Office.
